American Red Cross- Restoring Family Links Program

The American Red Cross’s Restoring Family Links program, part of the global Red Cross and Red Crescent Network, helps families separated by international crises reconnect with their loved ones. Whether due to conflict, disaster, migration, or detention, RFL teams provide free and confidential tracing services to locate missing relatives, offer referrals and resources, and guide families through difficult circumstances. Each year, the Red Cross helps hundreds of families rediscover the comfort of three simple words — “I am alive” — by restoring hope and rebuilding connections across borders.
