Updates for Refugees - USA Hello

The U.S. government plans to re-check refugee approvals for people admitted between January 20, 2021, and February 20, 2025. This includes refugees who have already received a Green Card.

• USCIS may look again at your original refugee approval and your Green Card application.

• Green Card applications (Form I-485) are paused for refugees from this period.

• If you are from one of the 19 travel ban countries, the rules in the section above also apply to you.
