World Refugee Day Panel

Center for Immigrant & Refugee Health along with the Public Health Institute will be joined by partners from International Rescue Committee Sacramento and Church World Services NorCal, who will share critical insights for professionals, community members, and advocates dedicated to supporting displaced families.

This virtual panel will provide an in-depth exploration of the refugee experience focusing on Afghan and Ukrainian communities, and will address systemic barriers, recent immigration policy changes, and the essential role of advocacy in shaping more equitable resettlement outcomes.
